About Health Coaching

I started my coaching business in June of 2022. After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and becoming a Certified Health and Life Coach, I wanted to explore the path of online coaching. I saw that the online space offered more flexibility, connection, and guidance for my clients. I’m also a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and mindfulness meditation teacher.

My passion is helping adults reach their true potential through coaching. My love for health and wellness has shown me the benefits it offers every individual. My goal is to be a guide for adults who want to improve their physical and mental health. My love for movement, nutrition, and holistic healing helped me improve my own physical health during college, and my interest in meditation, yoga, and journaling gave me the tools to care for my mental health. After overcoming challenges in both areas, I knew I wanted to teach others what worked for me on my journey.

Why the Mindful Living Method?

Mindfulness is defined as:

  • The awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally – Jon Kabat-Zinn
  • The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something – Oxford Dictionary

We live in a fast paced world which forces us to rush through life without awareness. We are rewarded for staying busy and staying in constant motion. This makes it difficult for us to understand what is going on and why we do certain things. Unfortunately this state leaves us living life without really understanding how to make the most of this one life.

The Mindful Living Method helps adults slow down, be present, and gain a deeper understanding of how they’re living their lives. It creates space for you to reflect and truly identify what you want out of life. Rather than simply following a set coaching plan, this method guides you to clarify what you want and why, empowering you to live with intention.

Most coaches have you follow a training plan and track your macros so that you can reach your goals. In the Mindful Living Method, we cultivate awareness so that you can be present while you work towards your goals. It provides you the space to learn habits that care for the whole person. In the end, this approach leads you towards a happier and healthier version of yourself. A version of you that understands what it means to live in the present moment, how to care for your physical and mental health, and why it’s important for a long life full of health and happiness.
